Former Chairman TATA Group Ratan Tata Dies at 86, Leaving India in Mourning

Ratan Tata, a titan of Indian industry and former chairman of the Tata Group, has passed away at the age of 86. His death marks the end of an era, as Tata was instrumental in transforming the Tata Group into a global powerhouse during his leadership from 1991 to 2012. Known for his visionary leadership and philanthropy, Tata's legacy will be remembered not only in India but also on the global stage.

Tata's contributions went beyond business. Under his guidance, Tata Group expanded its reach internationally, acquiring companies like Jaguar Land Rover and Corus Steel, while setting new benchmarks for corporate responsibility. He was a symbol of integrity and humility, qualities that resonated with millions across the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep sorrow, calling Tata's death a "personal loss" and highlighting his unwavering dedication to India’s development. Other leaders and business figures echoed these sentiments, reflecting the profound impact Tata had on Indian society.

Tata was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital earlier this week, and despite earlier reassurances, his condition worsened, leading to his death on Wednesday night. He leaves behind a legacy of innovation, philanthropy, and leadership that will be remembered for generations.
