Truth Social Denies Any Links to Trump-Themed Meme Coin Launch
Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the parent company of the social media platform Truth Social, has officially denied any involvement with a newly launched Trump-themed meme coin that recently began circulating online.
In a statement released on May 12, TMTG stated clearly that neither the company nor former U.S. President Donald Trump has any association with the project, calling it “unauthorized and fraudulent.” The company emphasized that it has not launched or endorsed any cryptocurrency.

“Neither TMTG nor President Trump has any involvement in this or any cryptocurrency,” the company said, warning users and investors to stay cautious of deceptive promotions.
The clarification came amid growing buzz on social media around a meme coin allegedly linked to Trump or Truth Social, which misled parts of the crypto community into believing it had presidential backing.
TMTG also added that any use of Trump’s name, likeness, or image in connection with cryptocurrency projects is without permission and likely part of a scheme to exploit public trust.
At present, Truth Social has no plans to issue a cryptocurrency or token, nor is it affiliated with any blockchain-based venture. The company encouraged users to verify the authenticity of such claims and avoid falling prey to false endorsements.
